I thought that pilots were the dumbest motherfuckers on the entire planet. But no, they're just normal people. Welders and other poor people are really smart at stuff their job entails, but believe that it's not worth it to do anything that's not their job. So they end up really good at fabricating stuff, but they are unwilling to use a computer to design stuff even if they'd be easily good at it. Hence why the engineers get paid more, despite the fact that engineering school teaches nothing and the most practicing engineers have no actual clue what the fuck they're doing.
