It's what convinced me to go into transit planning.
The streetcar is pathetic. 95% of the tracks are hindered by car traffic. There is no signal priority either. Also, it has 15 minute frequency most of the time. It is positioned right next to parallel parking so if someone parks incorrectly the streetcar is screwed. It is a horribly designed line that is hindered by all other modes at every turn. Not to mention the death of a cyclist on the tracks because Seattle doesn't know how to build cycling infrastructure either.
I love rail transit and well-implemented trams can be great, but Seattle is not the city to follow.
