I don't want to make a blogpost but since I've been asking questions in this general and the last one and have since gone on a 250 mile/400km~ four day tour, my first, I figured I should share that it went well for the most part.
I ended up using Komoot for navigation per
>>1646794 and was very satisfied with it. There were a few times I thought it was giving me sub optimal advice so I ignored it and every time I regretted it for one reason or another. I should have checked the weather forecast thing on it better though, I was riding against a strong wind on the first two days.
I also asked for advice about stealth camping above but unfortunately I never got a chance to do any. Mind you, I was riding through Indiana so I had nothing but cornfields and cows around me 75% of the time and was in towns/cities another 10% of the time. The wooded regions I came across were either too sparse or too dense looking to me. I did come across one nice spot just like
>>1644787 mentioned near an abandoned train and a small river but I found it in the middle of the day so there was no point stopping.
It has been a week since I returned home and I'm planning another trip. My legs still kinda burn when I fully extend or contract them, I wonder if that's just how weak I am or if my bike fit needs adjusting... either way it was fun and I want more.
