Is it sacrilege to use flat bars with these straight bar ends on road bikes? I've never seen it before, only bullhorns/pursuit bars. I like the idea of using the bar ends because you have a wider flat.
For commuting, they shouldn't be a problem right? I'm not in a dense downtown area where I would be worried about being as narrow as possible to slip between cars and small gaps.
