>>1168181Still doesn't sound right, that's a WIDE rim if it is. It's probably recommending 1.75" wide tires with a manufacturer warning of 2.10" max. Really, it's just there for liability reasons. As long as you can clear the frame, you can run as wide/thin as you want but keep in mind that rim width influences tire cross section a lot.
I know it sounds like a pain in the ass to do but I would personally measure the rim width. Both internal and external widths (as noted in the included photo A and B)
