It's what I would choose. Don't rule it out, old road bikes are really good, even as a big lad. Though, neither has very wide hill gears (not super difficult to modify)Hmmm interesting. The Centurion did catch my eye while browsing once I started thinking about steel frames in particular, looks like the perfect size. I'm used to riding on fatter tires so the KHS seems interesting for that and the much reduced price tag. Also did I read correctly mountain bike type tires are better for bad weather and surface conditions? Well, both were posted a while ago so I'll have to see if either is even available
The Fuji Sagres speaks to the weeb in me and it's VERY cheap, but as you say, it'll be work.
