Plus the heat up north is just brutal. Would recommend doing it by motorbike though, the fuel and maintenance on a car is hideous.

>>1423658Definitely going to do Hokkaido, was there last January for skiing and it was just magical, probably won't be there for harvest since I'm planning on heading north with spring starting late Feb probably. The tourist visa is three months right? Bit of a shame
because I would like to take four or five but that's life I guess.
