>>1185416that's not a coincidence. the amsterdam 9G/10G trams (better known as 'block boxes') were built by swiss manufacturer LHB and their design based on those zurich Tram 2000 units. it was the second series LHB delivered to amsterdam after the 8G series (see pic related) which were loved for their looks but had technical issues all the time, which eventually led to them being scrapped after only 15-20 years of service. the 9G/10G did it a lot better, the last one being taken out of service in 2016, after 37 years.
