Currently planning to ride this in late Summer/early Fall. The first half is kind of boring, second half is super pretty.
Still in the planning phase, waffling between which bike to take (Surly Midnight Special, All-City Cosmic Stallion or Surly Long Haul Trucker), bike bags or racks, and if I should ride out and back, or try to have a friend pick me up at the border.
I'll try to do it in 5 days, 60ish miles a day isn't too bad. Camping along the way.
It's also a sort of test trip to see what works before I try some much longer rides next year.
