I didn't come here today for advice on a bike.
I wanted to thank you all for helping me purchase a bicycle, way back in late 2020.
Especially to the anons that advised me to get an XC bike, even after I said I don't really ride off road that much.
Getting this bike was easily one of the best decisions I've ever made, changed my life.
I did have a question about tires though.
My rear tire is almost entirely spent, it's a Hutschinson Skeleton (29").
Should I buy another one of those, or try something a little thicker e.g. a Python?
I do roughly 75% tarmac, the rest is off road, nothing too serious. The only time I punctured a tire was in fact on the road, it was one of those tiny, pointy seeds some trees have.
