However earlier this year I was working on a vessel in Guyana, and before entry into the country a mandatory 2 week quarantine on hotel was required. I guess it was okay, being paid to stay locked in a hotel room. Anyway it seems the less developed a country is, the more paperwork and hoops you have to jump trough.
