In looking for a good standard for skyscraper design, I looked at some old and new nyc buildings which seemed like they could fit with classical architecture. Early skyscrapers did it well, but eventually the designs worsened
Then I saw some new buildings, a lot of them by RAMSA, some of which really shined on me. Instead of glass designs, it is like classic ones and stone clad. It fits what vitruvius said about Firmitas, that a building should be solid and look solid.
Unfortunately, the standard is still glass phallic structures
