I got an old car that does a bit less than 6L/100km or more than 39mpg.
Im in Portugal and I’d like to go around Europe some this coming summer. Specifically I want to go to Seville, Verdun, London, Manchester and Cork. Amongst others and not in that order.
I been doing some math and between tolls, fuel and ferries I may pay around 1200 to 1500 roundtrip (I’m exaggerating, or maybe not) and I’d car camp along the way. The other option is to fly/train/bus my way but that requires lodging and it may end up being as expensive, puts me on a time frame and everything would have to be planned ahead.
Which would be the way you would advise doing something like this? Never done anything like this before so I would love peoples opinions. Pic related.
