Picking the right saddle is an absolute nightmare, literally every person has completely different preferences to the point that you can't really trust anyone else's experience. For example, for me Specialized Sitero is the most comfortable saddle I've tried, even though it's designed purely for TT and should in theory suck on a road bike. It's also highly dependent on your position, a good saddle can become very uncomfortable simply by having it too high, too much angle, setback, etc.
