So here goes.
1. Can I use v-brakes with rims that were designed for disc brakes and are powder painted, or is the paint gonna be a problem?
2. I hate my aforementioned v-brakes because I can never properly adjust them. The brake pad on the other side is always stuck on the rim and the other one is an inch away, meaning only the other one moves when I pull the lever.
How to adjust them?
3. As I hate adjusting my v-brakes, I'm thinking of installing disc brakes instead, as I already bought disk brake ready wheels. The problem is, I'm such a noob I didn't realize my bicycle doesn't have disk brake brackets on the frame. It's an aluminium frame and welding them on would be nightmare.
