Just shy of a century today, over 2/3 of it on dirt and gravel. This is about the time flocks of hundreds of thousands of snow geese come through. So on the way home I checked one of the ponds they frequent, and found it had completely dried up during the summer. Two other ponds in the area for me to check this week.
Tuesday night and Wednesday the wind is supposed to be as high as 100 km/h, so Wednesday can be a rest day.
