for the purpose of powering lights most bike dynamos are 6 volt 3 watt
this tends to make them a little bulky and heavy
I presume there is a space in the market for a dynamo of less wattage so at to trickle charge battery powered lights
so far I have been using lights powered by rechargeable AA and AAA battery's
unfortunately rechargeable C and D cells are not widely available
and most lithium powered lights use non standard battery's that would only last five years
I am wondering if there are any bike lights powered by 18650 lithium cell
