>>1159147Winter is overstated. Now it doesn't get as cold here as Minneapolis but we share the same winter pains and I'll say, winter cold is not as bad as people make it seem. Of course I was born and raised in the area and biked/walked in negative stupid since I was a kid but the cold really isn't that bad and actually quite fun if you prepare properly once you're acclimated. There's a thing where it can get so cold, it can't snow because any moisture in the air would've frozen long ago. It's more brutal to do anything in blazing heat and high humidity than piercing dry cold. I will say though, the worst condition to ride in is about 28~34F where it's warm enough to rain but cold enough freeze.
