Drivers either freeze or become homicidal maniacs whenever there's more than one cyclist on the road, even though "rIdInG tWwo ABrEASt omgg " really makes very little difference. See pic related.
In fact, on narrow, twisting roads, riding in a bunch actually makes it easier for following traffic by reducing the distance needed to overtake the group.
For them, it means being visible from far behind and way ahead, while staying out of treacherous shoulders and avoiding close passes.
Just slow down, wait for an opening with gold visibility, check mirrors and blind spots, indicate, change lanes to pass, overtake, indicate back then slide back in.
