i've inherited from a bicycle traveler that made literally tens of thousends of km around southamerica. i've added some thousends more over this years, but never in a very long trip. mostly heavy daily use and weekend camping outings, a couple of hundreds of km at most. i had to change the chain once, brake cables 2 o 3 times, brake pads from time to time and that's all.
recently i've swapped the flatbar for a cheap local ripoff of a jones h-loop bar. the position is super comfy, but being made of steel the bar is super rigid and transmit every little wrinkle of the road. so i'm thinking on buying an original one from jones, i guess in alu becoause the ti option is too expensive for a thirdworlder
