THE OOOOOOOONLY REASON OPIATE ADDICTION IS A PROBLEM IS BECAUSE IT'S ILLEGAL. When you walk around in public ONE IN TEN people are opiate addicts. Think about that. WHen you are in a store and it looks really fancy and everyone is well groomed, ONE IN TEN OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE OPIATE ADDICTS.. The difference though is that ONLY SELF DESTRUCTIVE OPIATE ADDICTS LET OTHERS KNOW OF THEIR ADDICTION.. that is why you are predisposed to seeing the dysfunctional ones and hearing about them. This is compoudned by the drug war as it's taboo to show a positive stereotype of an addict. We need better drug addict role models in media, just like with minorities!
