>>1833216From what I hear most people don't like suspension on their kick scooters. It makes your kicks less efficient.
If you want a smooth ride that won't hurt your wrists my suggestions would be:
1.) The Razor A5 Air that I purchased. The ride quality is really nice, no discomfort in your hands or wrists at all. However, patching a tube would not be something you'd ever look forward to doing because you have to disassemble the entire wheel to do it. Great ride quality, but some potentially huge frustrating drawbacks.
2.) The Go-Ped Kick-Ped. Go-Ped started off making gasoline powered motorized scooters. Then one day they decided to adapt their motorized scooters into regular kick scooters. The result is a kick scooter that's essentially bombproof. It uses solid rubber tires that provide a much nicer ride than the urethane wheels on most scooters, but the ride quality won't be as good as the air filled tires on the Razor A5 Air. I was seriously looking at this model but the pavement around me is absolutely cratered to oblivion so I don't think it would be a good fit.

If the pavement around you is remotely decent I think the Kick-Ped would be ideal. If the pavement around you is a nightmare the A5 Air is really your only option.
