On Friday I got my covid booster and a flu shot so on Saturday against my better judgment I went for a 40 mile ride. On the way up a long climb, a man in his 70s or 80s on a road bike that was clearly state of the art in 1998 passed me with a determined expression and I could practically hear him thinking "I've still got it"
