The bus system is relatively neglected in Finland's Turku, we still don't have proper trunk routes and instead have double or triple lines to every terminus with okayish combined frequency to the market square (or what's left of it, currently it's a giant dig) but across the town journeys are a pain. The decision was made in 2009 but the implementation just gets postponed. Also the decision to built-not build a light rail is also in limbo.
