>>1740183If the chroming has bad spots, you can try a hard rubbing with crumpled aluminum foil to get the shine back. Just be sure to wax over it when done. If it's really badly corroded, I'd clean and treat the rust, and maybe paint a band of color around those spots. Idea being it'll end up looking intentional and aesthetic. Depends where the bad spots are though.
