Today is my birthday.
I spent my morning being yelled at in front of my coworkers because I insulted some students by comparing them with animals and making "inappropriate comments" about them
The last topic, which I don't choose, was
"what animal do you resemble like and why?"
"Describe your appearence" and
"What is your biggest weakness"
Next week the topic is "what is your worst bad habit" followed by "tell me an embarrassing secret about yourself"
I don't choose these topics, they are in the workbook I was given.
Most of my family forgot my birthday, I got a message at 8pm from my dad.
I got half a dozen messages from a group of 11 year olds I taught last semester, that was nice.
Here I am with my birthday gift to myself. A 2023 TREK FX1. With sidestand. They sell wheels worth more than this bike.
Eating some "cream" filled donut and a Netflix energy drink as my first meal of the day. Really quite good but it's yogurt, not cream.
I've never had a new bike, even an entry level. If I'm still regularly riding it in a year, I'll consider upgrading.
Now I have a 7.5km trip home, and need to look at lights, a bike bag, etc online when I get home
