A shady hack I did for a vintage build I sold, that had a tooth missing from a 32 middle, and didn’t want to pay the $80 for a vintage shim part; was I bought a cheap narrow wide chainring from eBay, filed the wide teeth down thin, drilled holes for ramp rivets, and used steel pop rivets.
