Knowing I'll be on my bike motivates me though, it's my main and only gig. The great thing these days is you can sign up and schedule yourself whenever and however you want or feel like, it's a decent side gig if you got a better main gig going on because of the flexibility.
Work has slowed down to just a little bit busier than prepandemic demand since dine in has reopened here but you can still expect $15-25/hr around lunch and $20-30/hr for dinner, there's always a dead gap around 2-4pm but dinner always picks up. Don't expect that every day though, this gig is unsteady and some days are slow or a system will crash. Chicago is a fun and very bikeable city to ride in. Just be careful out there, near accidents are a weekly if not daily basis doing this.
