That said, if you're riding off road, or riding a road bike fast, barcons aren't the best option because they mean you have to move your hands away from the brake levers. My go-fast bikes all have Ergo levers because indexing is nice too, and unlike Shimano/Sram brifters Campy lets you do multiple shifts in either direction from multiple positions with a single motion.
