I'll be turning 30 in about a month looking for a career change, I worked in a casino for several years but I want something bit different preferably with lot of off time, I did security not table gaming so probably won't help me much getting a job on a cruise.
If I'm at sea half the year and than have several months to myself that sounds good. I'll have to look into other jobs that have similar work/life balance but I doubt I'll find many so far this is the best option.

I'd like to be able to spend months at a time in places like Japan and Taiwan but I only get 2 weeks off a year.
