Bike was stolen. Fortunately thief was riding it while arrested. He went to court and was fined but because I was not invited to court I don't get any compensation for the lock he cut through in two minutes. So I'm shopping for a new lock.
This is the style of lock I had before. It has done me well for two years but clearly I need something better.
I don't have any receipts for the bike as I purchased it used but I've spend about £100 on replacement parts. I guess these brands which have insurance policies won't cover me even though it's a <£200 bike total.
