I have been watching bikeradars hill climb series and now i have the lightweight build bug again. My current road bike is not heavy and geared towards all around riding the sweet spot of speed and comfort. I know that the cost of the new bike and boutique parts while fun to fuck around with will have a very little difference in actual riding.I know this because I've done project light weight before and was underwhelmed by the results (pic related). To top it off I live in MN USA where there are no hill climbs. im probaby gonna endup building a boring budget crit bike that im gonna get bored of in a year.
