I think most of you people in 4chan have very limited minds. There are different live situations and different kinds of person. There isn’t a perfect solution for everyone. People started even blaming each other because of the place they live and people told people to change the city just because some way of public transport is better than another.
Take a look: When I was going to school I had a way of 5 km so I always chose the bike or I went by foot.
Pros:
-Don’t had to drive with all the other kids in the stinky bus that came in irregular time intervals
-Riding was good exercise
-Bus drove through a district with high migrant rate and high criminal rate. Could avoid this part.
Cons:
-When it’s warm you get sweaty and you have to change your clothes every day.
-I got often ill when it was really cold.
-If it rained, I was just wet and it felt bad. Even rain protection stuff has it’s limitations.
Now I have to go to university.
New problems using bike:
-Way to university goes through very criminal area. I have been robbed once. I’m scared to ride through there.
-Distance increased to 10km so its more time consuming and 6 times a week is a lot.
-I have to cross very high polluted areas. Pedestrians on my way all time. I already fell 2 times last year because of them.
Problems using public transport:
-Underground line goes through very criminal area.
-Underground is very full, stinky and I can’t relax because I have to look out for pickpockets.
-It takes around an hour.
-I have to change the train three times during a journey and there are often problems.
Advantages of caging:
-I can avoid criminal part because of highways.
-I’m there in 20 minutes.
-I can listen Johhny Rebel without getting beat up.
I’m still going often by bike to stay fit.
Love me, hate me. Tell me anecdotes about how you can bike 100km every day to work in 25 minutes without even feeling something or how nice and heroic heroes you are: I’m not. I’m out.
