>>1951351so i currently have a hybrid belt drive bike with a nexus 8 hub gear, i was thinking of putting a corner bar on it. problem is the nexus 8 comes with a grip shifter, which probably won't slide over the bent in the handle part. can i replace the shifter with any shimano 8 speed thumb shifter? for example a cheap one from an 3x8 set? would i have to replace the internal cable entirely?
