>>1133361That's nothing compared to the damage my bike got from an accident I had last year involving two cars. I was rear ended while waiting for oncoming traffic to clear for a left turn. One of the oncoming cars then struck my bike. I somehow ended up in the middle of the road and on my feet with little more than a bruised right knee from the top tube impacting it after the car hit the rear wheel.
The driver who hit me was cited for failure to yield to a bicyclist and his insurance ended up paying me for a new bike, a new headlight (which was also damaged in the crash), and whatever repairs the oncoming car that hit my bike needed.
