the Stevens is class 4, MTB are rated class5.
company's like Cube or Ghost only rate their bike class 2 which is more a normal road bike.
its frame strength and possible terain, class 5 is mtb tracks class 2 is tires never lift of the ground.
makes me think this frame is somewhat stronger as some "gravel" roads have rather large stones here that shake you quite a bit on a hard tail. i don't want to spend 1,5k and fuck up the frame i plan to use this bike at least for the next 15years.
