Like pic related, you want the interior to be brown like the dirt or a trunk. Black is reasonably neutral so it goes with everything, to an extent, but everything on a modern bike is black and black does often clash with brown. BRG + silver + brown is the combo you see in pic related and here

That's the classic combo, and it is classic, so a modern geo bike with all black components is not really it.
The welds are really neither here nor there imo, but the green matches with brown and brown has no place on a modern bike because it clashes with black. Imagine an e-type brg jag if the wheels were black, all of the chrome pieces were black and it had a black plastic bumper.
