>>1652563Concerning the pic, those bikes were pretty dope, my grandad took one when Ruskies freed him form captivity and my dad rode it until the late 70s. He told me that shit was indestructible. Heavy as fuck, but sturdy and rode well.
So here's a question:
>be me>have bike I saved 3 years to finally buy, steel frame>some retard thought it's a good idea to put a garbon fork on it>rides great>but garbon fragile>garbon no like hot summer, garbon no like bonks>paranoid about garbonSo is there any steel, thru-axle 15mm, tapered fork with a disc brake mount I can buy? Google isn't helpful. I only found some small manufacturers in my country that could make a custom one. Is there even a point? I ride dirt roads and forest patch with thick gravel here and there mostly, there's all sorts of stuff hitting my frame from the tires all the time.
Bonus question: considering a live in an attic and the bike stands there, with temperatures in the summer getting way over 30C, would that affect the garbon-binding resin? Or am I just paranoid and should say fuck all to it, ride like a man and accept that death or injury comes with the territory?
