Fuji Absolute 1.9 is available for 420€ (100€ delivery lol) at wiggle and it seems like an almost perfect fit for the task, steel fork is a boon for my usage, non-tourney 2x8 groupset, room for beefy 700c tyres, but the mechanical brakes throw me off, a bit. I'm used to low maintenance rim brakes, how do these Tektro M280 compare?
Other than that, there's decathlon options, Elops long distance 500 for just under 400€, comes kitted out with fenders and rack... but I don't really care about the lack of a subcompact crankset.
Anything else I could be looking at that won't break the bank? Say, under 500-600€
