hub dynamo might not be as expensive as you think. A built front wheel with a nexus hub is like 80 euro on bike24.
also consider spending less and just getting a shitty one. with an led headlight it's still gonna be better than the old stuff. Although, no capacitor, so no standby light. That's not a big deal if your bike is just a beater and or you have supplementary lights which is really the valid use case for shitty dynamos.
