>>1269403Woah, a fellow /n/igger. I'm about 10 mins away from this exact spot(Cary) and will go right past it on my way to work in an hour(in Barrington). Unfortunately I was only 2 years old when it happened, but it was definitely the most significant thing that has ever happened around here.
My mom was a phlebotomist at Good Shepherd hospital while her dad, my grandpa, was a trucker. Because my grandpa always listened to the police scanner, he knew about the accident before anybody in the ICU did. So he called the hospital, got a hold of my mom and told her what was going on. She ended up informing a supervisor which led to the entire unit getting cleared out for the bodies/survivors. So thanks to my grandpa's autism some lives could have been saved. But honestly, that stupid fucking bus driver should have been strung up in the town square and crucified for her absolute negligence.
