Put a new bottom bracket in my fat bike last night. I used an XT BB-MT800 which is a little weird. The outside of the cups are smaller, nearly flush with the BB shell since it uses smaller bearings. So a plastic adapter is included in order use a regular bottom bracket tool on it.
I was pleased that I was actually able to get the non-drive cup installed. The start of the thread in the frame is a little damaged so it is difficult to get the cup started. Last time I ended up putting the old one back in as I couldn't get its replacement to thread.
