This seems like the best thread to ask in right now, but I'll be in UK/Ireland from mid December to mid January and wanting to know if there are any must see train shit? I'll be riding the Christmas White Cracker behind Sir Nigel Gresley/ Royal Scot/ Britannia, but am wanting to see other rail related stuff like maybe must see viewpoints or even diesel or steam. Been to York, but only passing through Crewe and may be able to stop off on the way to stay in Bolton near Dibnah's house. What you got, lads?
