>>1712781>>1712782this is a stock photo but it's a rad runner
12" is the rise of the current handlebars, and they are about the right height for me to sit comfortably upright at that height.
I have seen a bunch of people put reg flatbars on them but they always have the seat all the way down flat or they just replace it with a bench so it looks like a cafe racer style (or more like the super73 ebike, which those people should have just got instead)
I keep my seat 6" up so that i'm at the right height for my legs to pedal, and I want the handlebars to stay roughly at the same height.
I wanna get rid of the bmx bars because
A) I have hit bumps and been leaning on the bars and they rotated forward on my by like 20-30° in the middle of my commute
B) I want something a little wider (I have really broad shoulders), I tried the control tech handlebar extenders for and extra 1-2" but the rad bikes stuff is all weird sizes and gauges so it's almost proprietary and they didn't fit the inside of the stock handlebars
C) I am considering moving the 750 motor to the front and installing a 1000w in the rear for 2wd and more speed/torque and I would def want the added control of a wider bar plus no chance of it rotating forward again at those slightly higher speeds
