>>1102292I use one because I live in the desert heat, elevation, and constant head winds make most of my rides pretty difficult. I already look goofy when I'm riding so I might as well carry all the water I could ever need.
I use a Camelbak ambush and its great for holding stuff for rides. I can hold: 3L's of water, a change of clothes, deodorant, two bags of snacks, a spare tube, CO2 canisters, my surface pro 4 (plus its charge), and my cell phone. Granted it's a pain in the ass to pack all of that stuff into such a small bag but once it's packed it's fairly comfortable.
If you don't need to carry as much this version might be good for you. It's nice and bright and reflective but you can't put any gear under the front flap like you can with the military version.
One downside to using them is it might be uncomfortable to put stuff in your jersey pockets and stuff like cell phones and snack will be harder to get to. So you might have to deal with stuff poking you in the back while you're riding or you'll have to keep everything in your bag and stop to get it out.
