It's an older Raleigh, seller says it has 7 rear gears and 2 front. I don't know much about bikes beyond how to shift gears, though I did notice that this bike has "stem shifters". From what I'm reading these are generally undesirable and are a marker of lower end bikes.
I'm paying about $120 USD for the thing, does this still look like a decent deal if I do decide to pony up later to have the shifters replaced with bar-end or something a bit newer?
