>>1661664>>1661666Thanks. Yeah it's a cotter crankset. Bought this Motoconfort bike from around 1980 for 70€. The chainrings were faulty so I wanted to change the whole crankset, including the axle. Turns out the axle inside was in great condition so I decided to keep everything and just buy new chainrings.
I heard a lot of criticism about cotter crankset but found out it's actually perfectly fine. Only problem is that spare parts are getting rare and expensive since it's an old standard.
