I strongly suspect that any Americans reading this won't be familiar with Decathlon, and also you will probably see pic related as the equivalent of a "Walmart bike". But I don't think they're comparable. As I say, Decathlon's entry-level road bikes have generally had good reviews from what I've seen. And pic related has good reviews on the Decathlon site.

I could look on Gumtree (British equivalent of Craigslist), true. In fact just looking, there are some that look alright, but holy fuck, these people have no idea how to take photos... a single grainy photo can only express so much.
