Never expect a driver who hits you to take responsibility for it. Don't try to argue with them. You'll get no where.
Slow everything down. You're not thinking straight. You might realize your frame is bent tomorrow. Get them to pull over. Sit down. Get them to sit down. Tell them you need to get your bike shop to inspect for damage, tomorrow. Take their details. Call the police if you need. But. Slow. Down. You're in shock. Don't try to pass it off as ok. Get them to write all their details down.
It's not an accident, it's likely a result of inattention and negligence. But don't let emotions into it and don't make it adversarial. Have them work with you, to admit fault to their insurer if you want compensation. Report it to the police because you're concerned they're a liability on the road, or potentially drunk, if you're hurt or their driving is particularly bad, but don't be angry or spiteful.
Finally, cycling on the road is dangerous. It hardly matters whose fault it technically is when you can get badly injured. You need to think hard about how you might have avoided it and cycle more defensively in future. Your safety is in your own hands. The whole thing is infuriating but cycling is a great stress relief. Don't get angry. Think logically, act in your own self interest, and enjoy riding your bike. It makes sense to be mad about this stuff but it feels horrible and it isn't inevitable.
