Most of the Ludmillas are already phased out (class 230/231 were already gone by the 90s and retirement of 232s also started in late 90s) by DB and scrapped, or as anon mentioned, sold to private railways in Germany or eastern Europe. Generally I'd say though it should be easier to find them in the eastern and nothern parts of Germany. And eventhough DB already has a bunch of class 77 through another company they own by 100%, some 232s and 233s still get new revisions currently and are sent to Daugavpils in Lithuannia for that.
Regarding OP's question: I don't really know desu. There's just way too many different types to chose from that are all pretty amazing in their own way. But my general taste tends towards old Bundesbahn stock. So I'm gonna go with the classic V100.
